When they made their first game, they couldn’t compete with big-budget projects as creating contemporary-looking games required manpower and technology they didn’t have but they also couldn’t just rely on nostalgic gamers looking for something more oldschool as the retrogaming market was much smaller than it is now (not to mention that current definition of “retro” is much broader than the one from the beginning of the century).

I have no trouble running it on Windows 10 as long as I click yes to playing the. I really want to make the console text green though :( Looks like a game I'd have a lot of fun with, I'll see how long before I give in and buy it.Īs for darksigns the only reason I know of it is that I have it on a PCUSER cover disk from October 2003, I expect its not well known but I've had plenty of fun playing it previously. Also wildcards only work for "all files" which is a GIANT pain when you need to delete long long long filenames, you need to type it all out. No spoilers form me though but I laughed several times ! Linux people will have no problem whatsoever, in fact you will MISS some commands such as cp, I could REALLY use cp in this game. Some great in jokes in there for people that know this genre too.
